 Rules of Play

In order to keep Lots of Love a fun and safe environment  for everyone, 

all applicants must meet the following: 

* Current Vaccinations -  Rabies; Bordetella; DHLPP (distemper)

 * Spayed/Nuetered- after 7 months old

 * Dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age

 * Temperment Evaluation - cannot be over protective of toys, people or space

* Good Health - we cannot accept any dogs that are coughing, or sneezing, or have vomited or had diarrhea in the last 48 hours 

 * Flea Prevention Program & Tick Free

* Sorry, No Pit Bulls  (American Staffordshire Terriers) over 7 months old allowed 

How to Enroll

 

*Tour our facility & Schedule an interview.

 Enrollment assessment is required prior to enrollment- a personal interview with both and owner to allow  assessment of dog's
temperament to determine whether your dog will enjoy and be enjoyed in daycare.
 

*Complete and sign:

 Pet Application , Liabilty release form  &  Rules of Play

A certified veterinarian must provide current records.  To include: Proof of current  rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella vaccine (every 6 months),
Spay/neuter by 7 months of age. You can fax records directly to us at (804) 745-1230.
 
*Enrollment:
 Based on your pooch's temperament evaluation, it will be  determined if your pooch will attend  Lots of Love.
  Any dog can be denied admittance during the evalutation process and any dog can be expelled from daycare for  any  behavior
 deemed inappropriate by Lots of  Love Once enrolled, reservations are required.  We are happy to administer vet rescribed
 medications at no additonal charge.  Please ensure your dog's name and dose are clearly marked  on the label of the medication container. 

 

Other Policies & Considerations 

 

Reservations - Space in our program is limited, and filled by standing reservations and first-come, first served basis.

Please make all reservations as early as  possible, so that we may accomodate your scheduling needs. 

 
Cancellations - If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so as soon as possible  to avoid charges. 
Daycare clients must cancel the day before your scheduled visit in order to receive a refund or not be charged for the visit.
No Show/Late Cancellation ~ $25

 

Drop off and Pick Up - It is very important that clients adhere to these hours, as anyone who repeatedly picks up late may be

denied future visits.  Full day clients please drop off between the hours of  7 am - 9 am and pick up no later than 7pm. 

Half day clients please drop off and pick up as scheduled. Please No pick-ups/drop-offs during naptime from 12pm - 2pm. 

 *Late Fee (Drop off/Pick up): $10 every 10 minutes. 

 

Illness and Injury - If your dog is ill, please take him or her to the vet immediately.  We reserve the right to refuse service if your dog

arrives sick or showing evidence of fleas. If your dog becomes ill under our care, we will make every reasonable attempt to contact you. 

We resere the right to quarantine your dog until you can pick him or her up, or we will take the dog to our vet if we believe it is in your

pet's best interest. Life threatening illnesses or injuries will be treated as deemed best by staff, at their discretion.

All veterinary bills are the responsibility of the owner, whatever the source or cause.
